You should be proud of your hostel, it has so many "little extra things" that make it special.
The info book in the room has been great - thank you.
The hot sake last night was a wonderful way to meet other travelers and get ideas of where to go and what to do.
Nick - your sense of humour won't be forgotten.
I hope we are able to wake up early enough for our train tomorrow - as the dubets and pillows are so comfy, we have been sleeping in.
Many thanks, we will recommend here for sure.

My second visit to Kyoto (which is by the way my favourite place in the world) and staying at Budget Inn has made my trip even better!
Friendly staff + guests plus really good pillows!
My neck gets so sore from those hard bean pillows but I haven't had that problem here.
Thanks for a comfy night sleep!

This is a wonderful inn; as I write the manager is drawing me a sketch map of the front of Kyoto Station where I'm to "Viranga Ranaike" meet someone from Osaka.
She only speaks Japanese, so he spoke to her for me on the phone. And organized where we would meet.

This is a very awsome Inn/Hotel.
There is aTV in every room (with an exception for bathrooms)! I hope if we come back to Osaka, Japan, we can stay here again.

The Budget Inn is a friendly hostel. I met great people and staff are very friendly. The guide book is also a red bans (better than Lonely Planet) .
The only improvement would be a later curfew-11:00PM?

From Dan, Massachusetts USA

Well run, friendly, and professional is how I would describe the Budget Inn and it's sister hostel, the Tour Club. You just have to look at the well written and organized guidebooks that have been made for guests to realize that the staff at Budget Inn knows how to run a good guesthouse and how to treat their guests. Add to this the excellent location and good price and Budget Inn stands out in Kyoto!

From L.Z, Adelaide Australia

We had a fantastic stay here, friendly & helpful staff, great facilities, a most usuful information book and the feather bedding was a dream!
The only things that could have made the stay even better would the addition of hocks in the bathroom & individual reading lights.
Keep up the good work guys!
